๐Multisigs & Timelocks
Calculum contracts are not yet live on mainnet. The below sections outline what we envisaged for the protocol and will be updated as the project development progress.
Developer Multisig
Smart contracts will be secured with timelocks and a multi-sig developer wallet. The multisig developer wallet will be used to deploy new smart contracts or upgrade existing ones. This will ensure a secure workflow where every change is approved by Calculum's developers and trusted team members. A [24-hour] timelock will be used, aiming to strike the right balance between letting time for users to review changes, and need for speed in case of emergency. As an added layer of protection, the timelock will be governed by a [3/5] signer multisig. In addition, there will be an Emergency Pause function that can be called on any vault by any of the multisig signer in case of suspicious activity; this will instantly freeze the ability to do any new deposit or withdrawal.
Treasury Multisig
Calculum will hold its treasury assets in a [3/5] multisig Gnosis Safes. Any treasury fund transfer will require signatures from trusted contributors and community members. The [5] signers form the Calculum Treasury Committee (CTC) and are currently represented by the following members:
[TBD]
Note: Once Calculum governance token will be live, the community will have the power to nominate and vote new signers in/out.
